Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Vientiane

On arrival in the Laos capital of Vientiane, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Vientiane is a charming and fascinating capital, with an interesting mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences.

After a short rest, we start visiting the major sights of the capital; including the Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image.

Enroute to Lao’s national icon, the precious and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. The Mekong riverside is the perfect place to end the day and admire the sunset. Overnight in Vientiane (B, D)

Day 2: Vientiane – Buddha Park – Shopping and Night Entertainment

After breakfast, we are heading down south Vientiane to visit the Buddha Park on the Mekong Riverside, Laos-Thailand friendship bridge, Duty Free shop, we return to down town and continue to shop at Indochina Market by ITECC before heading to the Morning Market Shopping Mall where find the handmade local textile, silk, cotton, jewelry, silver and gold or even international brand name items. Afterward, we take a walk along the Mekong river bank where you can find touristic shopping bar, restaurant along the Mekong River bank. You may enjoy shopping at the Night Market.

Optional: After dinner, you can also enjoy yourself night live entertainment, such as Lao style Lamvong, jazz, Karaoke, bars, disco both live band and music show. Overnight in Vientiane (B, L, D)

Day 3: Vientiane – Departure

If time permits this morning we will visit Thongkhankham Fresh Market or Talat Khouadin Market, where they local traders gather for their agriculture products, before your transfer to the airport for departure (B, L)
