Upon arrival to the airport in Hanoi, our driver and tour guide pick up and transfer you to our hotel for check in. Relaxing until around 3pm, we enjoy our cyclo tour around Hanoi Old Quarter to know as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally, each of the 36 streets names’ was related to the products being sold there. After that, we have our dinner at the fine restaurant in Hanoi.

In the morning we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, His House on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the outside of the Presidential Palace and the Temple of Literature which was Vietnam’s first University. In the afternoon we will go to the intriguing Ethnology Museum followed by an hour on a cyclo (a pedal rickshaw) being taken round the old quarter of Hanoi. Tonight we will take comfortable our overnight train to Lao Cai

            Day 3 : Arrival Sapa – Bac Ha Sunday Market - Sapa (B, L)    


	
Bac Ha Market - Sapa
Sites visited : Bac Ha Sunday Market
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to pick you up and we will enjoy our breakfast at the fine restaurant nearby Lao Cai Railway Station before It takes us 3 huor driving to get there. This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. In the afternoon we will have a 2 hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people).In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. And then we drive back to Sapa for check in hotel and discovering Sapa night market nearby our hotel.

            Day 4 : Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Catch night train back Hanoi (B, L, D)     


	
Ta Van Villages - Sapa
Site visited: Lao Chai, Ta Van Villages – Black H’mong, and Dzay people.
Breakfast in the hotel we then, embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hills tribe villages Lao Chai & Ta Van, home to Black H’mong, and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet.  Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Transfer back Lao Cai Railway Station for our dinner before catching our night train back Hanoi.

Halong Bay
Site visited: Halong Bay, Caves
Upon arrival, you will transfer to hotel for breakfast and freshen up. Then we depart for Halong Bay. When we are there we cruise in this secluded bay, marveling at 3000 limestone peaks that emerge from the emerald water. We have opportunity to visit spectacular limestone cave, swim from our boat, and especially we can do kayaking to explore the hidden charm part of the bay. Overnight on boat.

In the morning we do some more kayaking to explore Luon cave and from here we are kayaking toward Turtle islet, Human Head islet, and the Saddle islet. After having lunch on boat we are leaving Halong Bay for Hanoi.

Tu Duc tombs - Hue
Sites Visited: Thien Mu pagoda , Tu Duc tombs, Dong Ba market.

This morning we make our way down to the Perfume River to embark on a riverboat journey. We visit the Thien Mu pagoda (the Pagoda of the Heavenly Lady). After that we continue to the elaborate Tu Duc tombs of the Nguyen emperors. On our return we visit Dong Ba market.

Hoi An Museum - Hoian
Sites Visited: Hai Van Pass, Cham museum, My Khe Beach, marble village, old town of Hoi An
We travel through the high pass of Hai Van with its spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean en route to Hoi An. On the way we also visit Cham museum, My Khe Beach and the marble village. In the afternoon we will enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town with its narrow, winding streets, visiting the Fukien Assembly Hall, the 200 year old Tan Ky house, the Japanese covered bridge, the Hoi An Museum and the handicraft workshops. After that we are free to go shopping, go to the nearby beach, or even have some clothes made which can be picked up the very next day.

At 8:00am, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and we will star our half day Saigon City tour and Cu Chi Tunnel. The sightseeing tour acquaints us with the city’s some major sights. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.
We then drive this afternoon to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometers constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence.

            Day 12 : Saigon – Mekong Delta Boat Trip - My Tho – Ben Tre – Saigon (B, L)     


	
My Tho

Pick you up at hotel in Saigon at 8am. A smooth one and half hour car ride passing the green rice fields, leads you to the beautiful rural MYTHO city. The morning trip continues on the motorized boat on the Tien river to the Qui (Tortoise islet). On the way, you will view the fishing port, stilt houses, boat-building workshops, the other Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. The cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal to enter Ben Tre province, “the country of coconut”, to see a typical agricultural model call “Garden – Pond – Cage” then enjoy coconut candy mill and the relaxing honey tea. Then the amazing rowing boat trip on the small canal – fully covered by the shadow of the water coconuts’ tree and cool breezes is something you can’t be missed. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. After lunch, we will walk along the village, visit fruit garden, enjoy the tropical fruit while you are listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the islanders. Here we also can join the daily activities of the local people and enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside.
