Quan Am (Avalokitesvara) Festival on Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang is organized in 3 days of the second lunar month. Like other traditional festival, Quan Am (Avalokitesvara) Festival on Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang consists of two parts: the religious ceremony and the festival itself. The former takes place with the ritual of Buddhism: the ceremony and the rituals of with full rituals, the cenremony to worship spring sutra chanting (this ceremony is to pray for peaceful contry and the prosperous people), The ceremony of giving alms to the wandering souls, The preaching sessions (about culute, arts), Avalokitesvara Bodhhisattva statue procession.

On the first day of festival, all the villagers place significant objects on a table to begin the Peace Ceremony, which is organized on the first night. The next morning, villagers take part in a water procession, a ccompanied by a music band and an endemble of hat boi (Viet Nam tradidional opera). During the two days of the festival, all ships and boats are anchored at the wharf.
