Day 2 : Hanoi – Halong Bay on Cruise (B, L, D)

Upon arrival, you will transfer to hotel for breakfast and freshen up. Then you depart for Halong Bay. You will cruise in this secluded bay, marveling at 3000 limestone peaks that emerge from the emerald water. You have an opportunity to visit spectacular limestone cave, swim from the boat, and can kayak to explore the hidden charm part of the bay. Overnight on boat.

Day 3 : Halong - Hanoi (B, L)

In the morning you be able to do some more kayaking to explore Luon cave and from here you can kayak toward Turtle islet, Human Head islet and the Saddle islet. After having lunch on boat you are leaving Halong Bay for Hanoi airport to catch our short flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in.

Day 4 : Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)

Pick-up at your hotel at 7am, then transfer 120 km on a good road to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival in the national park we visit to the Primate Rescue Centre, which is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, breeding, research and conservation of the endangered primates of Vietnam. From here we drive further to the centre of the national park where we start our real jungle trek through the national park. A national park ranger will be our on-site guide who makes sure that we do not get lost and he will tell us about the flora and fauna of the park. Picnic lunch in the shade of a giant tree. After 6 or 7-hour trek (up to your fitness) with lots of descents and ascents on jungle trails we make the last climb downhill to a peaceful valley and reach the village of Khanh, home to Muong ethnic minority. We will have dinner and spend our night with a family in their traditional house-on-stilt.

Day 5 : Cuc Phuong – Thung Nang “ Halong Bay on rice field “ - Hanoi – Moon Garden Homestay (B, L, D)

After breakfast we say goodbye to the hosts and walk 1.5 km to the main road., where our waiting vehicle will transfer us to Thung Nang, which is known as the “Halong Bay on the rice field”. This is a stunning area of limestone mountains, rice fields and river. We will take a 2-hour boat trip to explore the beauty of the sight.
In the afternoon we head to Moon Garden Homestay that is far from Hanoi center around 50km.
Arrive at Moon Garden Homestay in Ky Son village. Welcome drink, you will be offered some kind of local tisane.Then, it is all your free time to discover Moon garden home stay and Ky Son village by yourself. While waiting for your steam bath to be prepared, you can enjoy your drink and taste some of the local products such as maize, sweet potato, cassava, peanuts, depending on season.
18:00 Traditional, refreshing steam bath with fragrant herbs (Lemon grass, pomelo leaves, holy basil leaves).
19:15 Observe the evening Buddha worship.
19:30Dinner;Then, enjoy your foot bath in warm water with ginger, salt and mug wort medicinal herbs before bed time, which brings you a deeper sleep.

8:30 You can have choice of a short ride of 6 km or a long ride of 12 km round trip:
Short ride: Take a bicycle ride to discover the Ky Son, Tam Son, Van Minh, and Cham farming communities to and stop at any home you like for a cup of tea. Visit the kindergarten (if open). Chat with local people about their daily life and farming. Or (if required) you can help with plowing or transplanting seedlings, harvesting rice (or cassava, corn, sweet potatoes, cucumber…) depending on the harvest season.
Long ride: Take a bicycle ride with local guide to discover the Ky Son, Tam Son, Van Minh, and Cham farming communities, Duong Lam ancient village and visit Mia Pagoda, Mong Phu Communal House… Then bike ride back along the ritual paths of Thang thac village to discover the Ngo Quyen tomb, Phung Hung temple.

Day 9 : Nhatrang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City/ Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
Cu Chi Tunnel
Free time for you relaxing in Nhatrang until our driver picks up and transfers you to the airport to catch our short flight to Saigon. Upon arrival to Saigon, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in hotel.
In the afternoon, we visit Cu Chi Tunnels otherwise known as the “Iron Triangle” or “Iron Land”. On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers.

Pick you up at hotel in Saigon at 8am. A smooth one and half hour car ride passing the green rice fields, leads you to the beautiful rural MYTHO city. The morning trip continues on the motorized boat on the Tien river to the Qui (Tortoise islet). On the way, you will view the fishing port, stilt houses, boat-building workshops, the other Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. The cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal to enter Ben Tre province, “the country of coconut”, to see a typical agricultural model call “Garden – Pond – Cage” then enjoy coconut candy mill and the relaxing honey tea. Then the amazing rowing boat trip on the small canal – fully covered by the shadow of the water coconuts’ tree and cool breezes is something you can’t be missed. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. After lunch, we will walk along the village, visit fruit garden, enjoy the tropical fruit while you are listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the islanders. Here you can join the daily activities of the local people and enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside.

Early morning board for a 3-hour cruise to Cai Rang and Phong Dien, 2 big floating markets with stops at a Bun Tau noodle factory and a short trek before arriving at a rice-husking mill. You can even try passing one of the many fragile monkey bridges along the canals photo shot. At the floating markets, you will discover a typical way of displaying and advertising farm products of local people gathering on the Mekong river to trade their goods. Drive to Chau Doc for overnight.

The Museum is instantly recognizable with its warm red terracotta and its gracefully cured roof topped by dozens of guardian nagas. PM: visit to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic. Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.

After your rest, visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Continue to view a wonderful sunset from the Top of Phnom Bakhen Hill.
