Breakfast, drive to Hue. Visit Red beach II, cloudy pass, Old Imperial Citadel, the old battle field of Tet offensive in 1968. Luncheon. Proceed northward, visit street of terror, Quang Tri old ramparts, firing summer 1972, the bloodiest battle filed in Vietnam, ruined church and high-school. Thach Han River, the exchange of P.O.W in 1973, logistic centre in Dong Ha of the 3rd Marine Division. Overnight in Dong Ha.

Proceed northward to Mc Namara’s electronic barrier, DMZ, 17th parallel, provisional demarcation line, Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnels, Con Tien fire-base, Camp Carrol fire-base, Rockpile Marine’s look out, Khe Sanh combat base, Ta Con airfield, Ho Chi Minh Trail. Travel southward; Dinner and overnight in Da Nang.
