The ferry is the starting place of a journey by boat to discover the hidden beauty of Trang An. In the beginning of the festive season, the ferry is extremely crowded with hundreds of boat. The small boats, each carrying 4-5 people, will take the tourists to experience the charming mountains and rivers, visit the historical sites like Trinh Temple (also called Trinh fane), a thousand year old temple which is famously sacred in Ninh Binh, or Tran temple, an ancient stone temple, built in 968 to enshrine a general from the 18th Hung King Dynasty.

Tam Coc – Bich Dong, also known as “the second most beautiful cave of the south”, is a natural key tourist area of Ninh Binh. To fully explore Tam Coc, it will take visitors approximately 3 hours by boat along the Ngo Dong River. Not only is Tam Coc (3 caves) landscape, but also the scenery along the river sides really infatuates the heart of many tourists.
Bich Dong – “the second most beautiful cave of the south” is a dark submerged cave and is approximately 350 m long and about 2 km from Tam Coc wharf. In front of the cave is the winding Hoang Long river, there are paddy fields along the mountainside in the other side of the river. In the end of the Bich Dong tour, visitors can climb up the mountain to visit Bich Dong Pagoda, an ancient temple, which has the oriental style, on the rock.
